Compensation: We pay a generous percentage of the customer billing. A skilled, knowledgeable, experienced tax preparer will be provided a guaranteed base or a percentage of the billing, whichever is larger. Compensation should average at least $50.00 per hour and go up as the preparer learns our processes. We are replacing a retiring CPA who averaged $75.00 per hour this last tax season.

The Position: Tax Preparer who is skilled, knowledgeable and experienced. Full time plus during tax season. We will work with the employee to work out the rest of the year, depending on their desired position. We are flexible with this position – it can be tax season only or any combination of full time tax season followed by part time off season, up to full time off season.

Qualifications: EA or CPA (Colorado license) Minimum of 5+ years tax preparation experience Capable of preparing: Personal returns with reasonably complicated real estate investments and partnership investments. Corporate and Partnership returns consisting of small business clients. Trust and Foundation returns with light to medium complexity-(desired skill, but optional).

Skills needed: Great level of tax knowledge. Accountant’s working knowledge of QBO and QB-Desktop. We assist our client’s in keeping their g/l and the tax return in sync. Pro Series software for tax prep and fixed asset management. Clear understanding of shareholder and member basis issues.

The Firm: We are stable – serving Denver for over 30 years. We own our offices in Lone Tree. We have a staff of 14 to 16, consisting of 3 CPA, 2 EA, 2 supervised preparers and several bookkeepers, during tax season.

Working Conditions: Firm located 1 mile south of the Park Meadows Mall in Lone Tree, CO. Flexible hours/days. Dog friendly-we don’t pay them, but have a few in office daily.
