Potentially Contaminated Marijuana Flower Produced and Sold by Titan Health, LLC
The Denver Department of Public Health & Environment (DDPHE) is advising the cannabis industry and consumers that marijuana flower (bud/shake/trim) produced and sold by Titan Health, LLC d/b/a ‘Uherbs’ is potentially contaminated with spider mites.
During a DDPHE investigation, a spider mite infestation was observed in portions of the cultivation facility affecting medical and recreational marijuana plants. Titan Health, LLC d/b/a ‘Uherbs’ indicated to DDPHE that they have taken measures to remediate the infestation but did not provide test results to show whether the final product was free from contaminants. Therefore, DDPHE cannot confirm the spider mite contamination was eliminated from the final product or that specific batches are not affected.
