This resource is based on my experience being homeless in Denver, Colorado as a military Veteran. Things I didn't know that I probably needed to know.
I honorably served 4-years in the Marine Corps with all but my last few months of service being spent overseas. After being honorably discharged from the Marine Corps I stayed overseas and went on to work for Marine Corps Community Services for the next 11-years. I never lived in the United States as an adult. I left the country at 19-years old and returned when I was 36-years old, and when I returned I had nowhere to go. I didn't know where to go, I didn't know what to do. That began my confusing journey of being homeless in Denver.
